Thanks for sharing! Yes, the first few weeks are always crazy in any educational program, from early childhood all the way through college. I don't think that ever goes away...regardless of how many years you stay in one location, because the students, administration, and your environment often change.
It looks like you have a fairly balanced schedule, getting the opportunity to work with your student(s) in a variety of areas, as well as interpreting in those areas. That gives you a slight advantage as you get to see how the student is doing in the class while interpreting and possibly use that information while providing direct instruction. Hopefully, you will be able to work with your student more often than not. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more throughout this semester!
